Job summary

Labcorp in Frederick, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with potential overtime and Saturdays as assigned. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain logs while delivering excellent patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
