Job summary

Labcorp in Prince Frederick, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages, provide exceptional customer service, and act as the face of Labcorp in patient service centers or client offices.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
