Job summary

Labcorp in Johnson City, TN seeks a Phlebotomist to join our PSC team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, and enter data accurately while delivering excellent service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant phlebotomy certification or training. Overtime flexibility and travel to additional sites may be required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
