Job summary

Labcorp in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimens for various tests, and enter patient data accurately. The role requires excellent customer service and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
