Job summary

Labcorp in Short Hills, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples and perform related duties in a patient-focused environment. The role supports multiple sites and requires accurate data entry and strong customer service skills.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturday shifts and opportunities for growth within Labcorp's clinical network. Prior phlebotomy training or certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
