Job summary

Labcorp in Brielle, NJ is seeking a phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol analyses, and enter patient data accurately.

This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel to additional sites. A phlebotomy certification or approved training program is preferred or required.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
