Job summary

Labcorp in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across ages, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and ensure accurate data entry and specimen handling. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Certification is preferred. The role may involve travel to additional sites and requires reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
