Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Brenham, TX team. You will perform blood collection, manage specimen handling, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year phlebotomy experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• LabCorp experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification may substitute experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
