Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Brenham, TX team. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for tests, and enter patient data accurately.

You will travel to additional sites as needed, provide excellent customer service, and work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Able to pass a color blindness test and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for tests and ensure accurate patient data entry.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs for patients and specimens.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and travel to additional sites as needed.
