Job summary

Labcorp in Waco, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, plus accurate data entry and providing excellent customer service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional travel to other sites. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy experience; certification or completed training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
