Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Winchester, Kentucky team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, and accurate data entry.

You’ll travel to additional sites as needed and provide excellent patient service. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred phlebotomy certification or accredited training.

• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and travel to additional sites when needed.
