Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collections per age-related standards and departmental policies.
• Demonstrates AIDET model and optimizes patient safety to reduce errors.
• Receives and reviews physician orders; enters orders for lab tests per policy.
• Communicates with patients and provides post-phlebotomy care.
• Processes specimens for stability and integrity, including labeling and packaging.
