Labcorp in Athens, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and enter patient data accurately.

Travel to additional sites may be required, with a Monday-Thursday schedule. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or phlebotomy training/certification; 1+ year experience is preferred and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training.
• 1 year or less experience acceptable; 1+ year preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and ensure proper labeling and transport.
• Maintain accurate logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
