Labcorp in Windsor, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled blood collections, process specimens for testing, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering excellent patient service in a patient service center.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with 6+ months experience; 1 year preferred. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-12pm, with potential travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Able to pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and strong written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
