Job summary

LabCorp in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, handle specimens, and ensure accurate data entry.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or training, or 1 year of phlebotomy experience; 2+ years preferred. You will travel to additional sites as needed and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or training program.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients; travel to other sites as needed.
