Labcorp in Ruston, LA is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and specimen handling.

Travel to additional sites may be required, and evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination or medical/religious accommodation will be requested. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
