Job summary

Labcorp in Quincy, MA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team, working Monday through Friday 9:15 am to 5:45 pm with rotating Saturdays. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering exceptional patient service.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or training, or at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience, plus strong communication and reliability to support multiple sites and procedures.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
