Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Greenfield, MA. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, patient data entry, and ensuring accurate specimen handling and timely processing.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm, with rotating holidays and weekends. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least six months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Phlebotomy certification or completion training or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• One year of LabCorp experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
