Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Medical Clinic in Evergreen, CO. You will perform blood collection and provide outstanding patient service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and Phlebotomy certification or completed training; 9+ months of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Overtime flexibility and strong communication are essential as you support patient access to care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 9 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
