Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. You will collect specimens for tests, enter data accurately, and assist with billing as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Phlebotomy certification or training, and flexibility to travel to additional sites. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $24.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Phlebotomy certification or completed training, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy experience.
• Additional requirements: ability to travel to additional sites, pass a color blindness test, strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
