Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hendersonville, TN. The role involves blood collections for all ages, precise data entry, and providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include specimen handling, billing support, and occasional travel to additional sites. A phlebotomy certification or training is required, with 2+ years of field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
