Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months of blood specimen collection experience required.
• 3 years experience preferred.
• Internal CA Phlebotomy Technician license considered.
• Proficient with LIS and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Restock phlebotomy supplies across all shifts.
• Perform clerical duties.
• Communicate with coworkers, hospital personnel, physicians.
• Maintain laboratory coverage for patient care with potential last-minute changes.
• Collect specimens via venipuncture or skin puncture per policy.
• Inventory and restock phlebotomy testing supplies.
• Deliver specimens to the lab as needed.
• Data entry and LIS proficiency.
• Assist customers with LIS information.
• Keep the workplace clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
