Qualifications

Proficient with LIS and computer applications.
BLS certification required.
CPI Blue Card within 90 days of hire or notification.

Responsibilities

Restock phlebotomy supplies for all three shifts.
Handle clerical duties.
Communicate with coworkers, hospital personnel, physicians.
Maintain coverage of the laboratory to provide adequate patient care, with potential last-minute schedule changes.
Collect samples from inpatients using venipuncture or skin puncture per policy.
Inventory, report and restock all phlebotomy testing supplies.
Deliver specimens to the lab as needed.
Data entry and proficiency with the LIS system.
Assist customers with LIS information.
Keep the workplace clean and neat.
Perform other duties as assigned.
