Labcorp in West Allis, WI seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team and provide accurate blood collection and specimen handling. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across diverse patient groups, enter data accurately, and support billing and administrative tasks while delivering exceptional patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification is preferred, with 1 year of experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
