Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Fountain Valley, CA. The position involves blood collection, specimen handling, and patient service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a California Phlebotomy license (CPT), a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. Bilingual ability and prior Labcorp experience are a plus. The work schedule is Monday–Friday with potential weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 3 months or more of experience as phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more phlebotomist experience preferred.
• Current or prior experience at LabCorp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
