Job summary

Labcorp in Irvine, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team at 160 Irvine 92618. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups, collect specimens for tests, and provide accurate data entry and courteous service.

The role requires a CA CPT license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred candidates have 1+ year of experience and bilingual Spanish/English abilities, with willingness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 3 months or more of experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
