Labcorp in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood draws, prepare and process specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role supports client offices and PSC settings with flexibility to cover multiple sites and shifts, and offers opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Round Rock, TX (78664).

Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 5:00pm (additional hours may be requested as needed)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform Urinalysis dips and pregnancy kit tests
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Will provide coverage to client and PSC settings

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
• 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)
• Current or prior LabCorp experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Will provide coverage to client / PSC environments
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

This role will work in our client's office and patient service settings to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
