Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at McLeod Cardiology Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, SC. Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 4:45 pm; Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. You will perform blood collections and handle specimens with care.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, data entry, processing billing info when needed, and ensuring excellent patient service. Travel to additional sites may be required. Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma and phlebotomy certification or accredited

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited Phlebotomy course.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
