Job summary

Labcorp in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a Patient Service Center or client office. You will perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company, while providing excellent customer service and accurate data entry.

This role supports growth within the organization and requires strong communication and teamwork. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
