Job summary

Labcorp in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform skilled blood collections, process specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient and specimen data.

We value exceptional customer service, teamwork, and the ability to work independently. The role includes potential travel to additional sites and a Monday–Friday schedule with standard daytime hours. This position offers growth opportunities within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and blood collection techniques.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work accurately with patient data and logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
