Job summary

Labcorp in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide expert specimen collection and patient service in a fast-paced environment. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, enter data accurately, and support billing processes while representing Labcorp with professionalism.

This role offers weekday scheduling with potential overtime and opportunities for growth through on-site training and cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
