Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and accurate data entry in a patient-focused environment.

You will provide exceptional service, work Monday–Friday 11:00am–7:30pm with rotating weekends, and may travel to other sites as needed. Relevant Phlebotomy certification or training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
