Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, seeks a Hospital Phlebotomist to join the team at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL. The role requires performing venipuncture on all ages, collecting specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry.

Three 12-hour shifts weekly, with rotating weekends and potential travel to additional sites. A phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience, plus a High school diploma or GED, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
