Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to work in Cedar Park, TX. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, enter patient data, and help with billing when needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year of phlebotomy experience, and a commitment to exceptional patient service. Phlebotomy certification is a plus, with flexibility to travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is preferred; or 1 year+ phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
