Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center, delivering exceptional customer service while performing skilled specimen collections. The role involves accurate data entry, specimen preparation for testing, and occasional travel to other sites.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training. Ongoing development opportunities and a quarterly PST Incentive Plan bonus are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
