Job summary

Alverno Laboratories is seeking an Outreach Phlebotomy Services professional for the Stones Crossing location in Greenwood, IN. The role focuses on collecting blood specimens and supporting laboratory office tasks in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, phlebotomy experience or training, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel to other locations as needed. There is on-call rotation and Saturday rotations as described.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or training required.
• Background in a medical laboratory and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• May be required to travel/drive to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens and perform laboratory office duties.
• Register patients and accurately enter data into the computer system.
• Specimen accessioning, answer telephone calls, and process paperwork.
• Prepare specimens for testing and/or for sending to central or reference laboratories.
• May perform limited waived and specified non-waived POC tests; may act as driver during on-call rotation.
