Alverno Laboratories in Rensselaer, IN is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for Outreach Phlebotomy Services. The role involves collecting blood specimens and performing routine laboratory office duties in a patient-centered setting.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with Saturday morning shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. You will register patients, enter data, accession specimens, and prepare samples for testing or sending to the central or reference lab.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy experience and/or training is required.
• Background in a medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• May be required to travel/drive to other locations.

Responsabilités

• Collect blood specimens and perform laboratory office duties as outlined.
• Register patients and accurately enter data into the computer system.
• Accession specimens, answer calls, and process paperwork.
• Prepare specimens for testing or shipment to central/reference labs.
• Perform limited waived POC tests as authorized and participate in on-call rotation.
• May serve as a driver and travel to other locations.
