Job summary

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and prior phlebotomy experience. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to other locations are preferred, with weekend/holiday rotation as part of rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or training required.
• Background in a medical lab and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens and perform lab office duties.
• Register patients and enter data into the computer system.
• Process specimens for testing or shipment to central/reference labs.
• May perform limited waived POC tests as authorized.
• Occasionally drive between locations and participate in on-call rotation.
