Job summary

Labcorp in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team on a standard Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, accurate data entry, and providing excellent patient service.

Travel to additional sites may be required as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information in accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
