Job summary

STG International is seeking a Phlebotomist / Laboratory Technician for a potential future opening in Dyersburg, TN. The primary responsibility is to provide phlebotomy services and clerical support at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Candidates should have two years of clinical experience, relevant certification, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar role.
• Current certification in phlebotomy from a recognized body.
• Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional communication skills in handling difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and various specimen collection procedures.
• Conduct patient in-processing and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.
• Maintain supply inventory and cleanliness of work area.

Skills

Clinical experience as a phlebotomist

Certification as Phlebotomy Technician

Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR

Understanding of medical terminology

Diplomatic communication skills

Detail-oriented and multi-tasking

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of accredited phlebotomy training program or experience
