Job summary

Labcorp in Jackson, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Tuesday–Friday 8am–1pm, Saturday 8am–12pm, with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for tests, enter data accurately, and provide courteous patient service. A high school diploma or phlebotomy certification is required; 2+ years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or training.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
