Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the team in South Pittsburg, TN. The role entails blood collection, specimen handling and data entry, with a Monday–Friday 8am–3pm schedule and travel to additional sites as needed.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and Phlebotomy certification or training, with preference for 1 year or more experience. Excellent customer service and ability to work independently are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
