Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages at our Florida locations. You will collect specimens for drug screens, paternity and alcohol tests, enter patient data, and assist with billing as needed.

Travel to additional sites may be required, and a color blindness test is part of the requirements. We value exceptional customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
