Labcorp in Norfolk, VA is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and travel to additional sites as needed.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with possible Saturdays. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training (or 6 months’ experience). Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training/6+ months experience required.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
