Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Cherry Lane in New Castle, DE. You will perform skilled specimen collection and provide exceptional customer service in patient service center or client office settings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Flexible schedule, with potential overtime and travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
