Labcorp in Mount Olive, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, with emphasis on accurate data entry and patient care.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, handling billing when needed, and traveling to additional sites as required. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training are preferred, with overtime flexibility and a focus on exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 6+ months experience.
• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or accredited training.
• Able to pass a color vision test and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly into systems.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs for patients and samples.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
