Job summary

Labcorp in Springfield, PA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection across age groups, data entry, and providing excellent customer service at patient service centers or client offices.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training are required, with preference for 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent phlebotomy certification or training.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency is required if no work experience.
• Prefer 1 year+ phlebotomy experience and proven customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient data.
• Travel to additional sites as needed and provide excellent customer service.
