Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Escondido, CA team. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent patient service. Occasional travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California Phlebotomy License required.
• Preferred: some phlebotomy experience; familiarity with Labcorp is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and travel to additional sites as needed.
