Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Tuscaloosa, AL. Work schedule: Mon–Thu 8:00am–5:00pm, Fri 8:00am–12:00pm. You will perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide excellent patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. This role may involve travel to additional sites and standard lab support duties.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED is required.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Mansioni

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Enter patient information accurately into the system.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
