Job summary

LabCorp in Mishawaka, Indiana is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with every other Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm.

You will perform skilled venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, ensure precise data entry, and assist with billing and specimen processing. The role emphasizes exceptional patient service, independent or team work, and potential growth within LabCorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
